25-26 Middle School Sports Calendar

Registration for these sports is currently closed.

6th grade girls’ volleyball (cut)
6th grade boys’ soccer (cut)
7th/8th grade boys’ soccer (cut)
Co-ed track and field 

The first day of tryouts for volleyball and soccer and practice for track & field will be on Monday, March 30th.  Cut teams will try out on Monday and Tuesday and Thursday (if needed).  Teams will be decided by Friday, April 3rd at the latest.

According to WIAA, NSD and Leota Middle School policy, every athlete must meet the following requirements for athletic eligibility to participate in both sports practice and games:

Register your student for sport(s) they are interested, sign appropriate parent/guardian forms
Upload a current sports physical on FinalForms or send one to Lyn Trier, ASB Secretary, in the main office at ltrier@nsd.org.  Your student can also bring their physical to the office. 

The physical form is 2 pages and can be found here. The form must contain the exam date and physician’s signature. Physicals are good for 2 years.  If you have trouble getting into your student’s doctor, consider using Zoomcare which does self pay out of pocket sport physicals for $65.  Also, some doctors will fill out paperwork like sport physicals if the patient has been seen within the last year.
Your student will need to log on to their district email to complete a few forms themselves to finalize the registration process.
Fees: 
Participation fee is $200, payable beginning the second week of sports (after tryouts if applicable) and before the first game/ match, payable by check/cash in the main office or online at https://schoolsales.nsd.org. We will collect season 4 fees beginning on 4/13.

ASB Card is $40 per year, due before the first game/meet.
